Alice Theresa (Felmly) Menard
Alice Theresa (Felmly) Menard, born on March 30,1958, passed away peacefully this week at home in Venice, Florida. Alice navigated life with quiet strength, humor and a deep connection to her roots. Born and raised in Salem, New York, Alice always held close the fondest of memories of her summers as a child and with her own children at Hedges Lake. She attended Rhode Island College and Vermont College to pursue her passion for nursing, a role she thrived in for decades. Alice spent the majority of her adult life raising her family in the hamlet of Salt Point, NY.
Alice was predeceased by her father Dr. Lloyd Felmly and her mother Margaret (Rogers) Felmly. She is survived by her two children, Katherine Creedon and her husband Matthew, and Neil Menard and his wife Hope, all of New Canaan, CT. She was the proud grandmother to five cherished grandchildren: Claire (11), Anna (9), William (6), Brant (5), and Braden (2), all of whom brought great joy to her over the years.
According to her wishes Alice will be laid to rest beside her beloved Grandmother, Alice Theresa Mulligan Rogers, in Greenwich, NY. There will be a Rite of Committal service on Saturday, December 14th at 10am at Saint Joseph’s Cemetery in Greenwich, NY. All are welcome to attend.
